Detail
I. Scope of Application
The ZYHM1 series molded case circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as "the circuit breaker") is one of the new-generation products developed by our company using internationally advanced design and manufacturing technologies. With a rated insulation voltage of 800V (500V for ZYHM1-63 models), it is suitable for AC 50Hz systems with rated operational voltages up to 690V (400V for ZYHM1-63 models) and rated operational currents up to 800A. The circuit breaker is designed for infrequent switching of circuits and infrequent starting of motors. It provides overload, short-circuit, and undervoltage protection to safeguard electrical lines and power equipment from damage.II. Classification & Features
The circuit breaker is classified into four types based on rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu): Type C (basic), Type L (standard), Type M (enhanced breaking), and Type H (high breaking). Key features include compact size, high breaking capacity, short arc distance (zero arc for certain specifications), and vibration resistance, making it ideal for terrestrial and marine applications.III. Installation & Wiring
The circuit breaker supports vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) mounting. Reverse power input is prohibited; power must be connected to terminals 1, 3, 5, and load to terminals 2, 4, 6. It also provides isolation functionality.IV. Applicable Standards
The product complies with the following standards:
IEC 60947-1 & GB/T 14048.1 (General Rules)
IEC 60947-2 & GB/T 14048.2 (Low-Voltage Circuit Breakers)
IEC 60947-4 & GB/T 14048.4 (Contactors and Motor Starters)
IEC 60947-5 & GB/T 14048.5 (Electromechanical Control Circuit Devices)II. Operating Environment
The ZYHM1 series molded case circuit breaker is engineered for reliable operation in diverse environmental conditions. It performs effectively at altitudes up to 2000 meters above sea level, with ambient temperatures ranging from -5°C to +40°C for standard applications and -5°C to +45°C for marine-grade variants. The device demonstrates robust resistance to humid air, salt mist, oil mist, fungal growth, and nuclear radiation exposure. It maintains operational integrity under maximum inclination angles of ±22.5° and withstands mechanical stresses from normal maritime vibrations as well as seismic events measuring up to 4g. Installation is permitted only in non-explosive environments free from corrosive gases, conductive dust, or substances that could compromise electrical insulation. The equipment must be protected from direct rain, snow, and other precipitation sources to ensure long-term reliability. -
